The muon anomalous magnetic moment (g-2) has a difference of approximately three standard deviations between the experimental value and the standard model (SM) prediction. More precise measurement is required since it implies an evidence of the physics beyond SM. The J-PARC E34 experiment aims to measure muon g-2 with a statistical uncertainty of 0.1 ppm using novel techniques. Muon linear accelerator is one of the most important techniques for our experiment. As the first trial of the muon acceleration, the muon initial acceleration with the J-PARC RFQ- plans to be demonstrated at the muon H-line in J-PARC MLF. First, the incident muons with an energy of 4 MeV are decelerated to sub-keV with the thin metal foil. The decelerated muons are extracted and accelerated to 5.6 keV by the electro-static field. Then the muons are injected to the RFQ and accelerated to 0.34 MeV. We conducted the muon beam experiments towards the muon initial acceleration in February 2016. We succeeded to demonstrate the muon deceleration and electro-static acceleration. In this poster, the beam test results and prospects for the muon acceleration with RFQ will be reported.
